Dmitry Orlov broke a third-period tie with his first NHL goal, and the Washington Capitals moved into a tie for the Southeast Division lead with a 2-1 win over the Carolina Hurricanes on Sunday. The rookie defenseman, playing in his 25th game, put in the rebound after a shot by Jason Chimera at 1:12.
