But on Thursday, the jury said it wanted more — much more.  Read full article > >

Iran nuclear talks continue on second day

Thursday, May 24th, 2012

Book World: ‘The Origins of Sex,’ an early awakening

Wednesday, May 23rd, 2012

During the 17th and 18th centuries in England, people’s attitudes toward sexual behavior — and, of course, sexual misbehavior — changed dramatically. To a large degree, this revolution pivoted on the dynamic between private actions and public, civic and religious ideals. Wednesday, May 23rd, 2012

It’s not 2004 any more. I’ve been looking at Republican Senate candidates’ Web sites today, and one of the things I was looking for was whether Republicans believe same-sex marriage is still a winner for them. The answer? A solid maybe, but perhaps leaning towards a “no.” Read full article > >
