We live in a time when the internet has opened up so many possibilities to earn a living online working from home, take an existing business online or to create any number of websites geared toward helping you achieve financial freedom. If there has ever been a time when the odds are in your favor, the time is not.

It is simple to get a website up and ready for traffic on the world-wide-web. At one time it was rather costly to start a website. Designers were charging lots of money for their skills because of the limited number of people that were capable of producing sites. However, I will say that the four most important uses for deploying marketing strategies online will be for prospecting, lead generation, business branding and product promotion. Seriously, most of your revenue generating activities will encompass around one of these three.

It just takes a domain name, web hosting service and a simple website to start the ball rolling. Most domain names cost approximately $9.00 and a web hosting starter package will run about $10.00 per month to host your files. Many hosting companies have basic click-and-point online site makers that make it easy for you to create a basic site. If you want to tweak the site in any way, you will have to learn a little more about HTML or PHP coding.
