Convenience Is Historical At The Theater

If you were to ask people as to what appeals to them in terms of a favorite pastime or a passion, many would answer that they love watching the movies. Movies always have an ageless charm and a lure that cuts across age, language and regional barriers. Whether you are in New York or New Delhi, in Copenhagen or Chicago, people love to watch movies and catch up on the last block buster to hit town. There are so many movie buffs that like to catch the first show on the first day of the release of the movie and would be willing to go to great lengths to ensure that they procure tickets for the newly released movie.

It is not like the charm of movies attracts people only to commercial movies. There are many fans of the ‘art’ movies or realistic movies, which are considered to be part of the parallel cinema movement. Around the world, there are many movies in a host of languages be it Persian, Russian or Hindi that fall within the serious movie genre. There are also some film festivals that celebrate such rational and thought provoking cinema which appeals to the more cerebrally minded folks amongst us. In any case, the fact remains that movies of every hue are a great draw for movie lovers.

The cinematic experience is generally not completed without being accompanied by some culinary and snacking delights. People just love to carry an assortment of drinks and snacks to sip and munch on while they are engrossed in the movie that unfolds on the screen. Using cup holders thus is a normal and logical thing as these cup holders can be used to securely hold the cups or bottles that people need in the theater.

There are many movie theaters that have pre-installed cup holders in chairs. Halls have cup holders in the arm rests or perhaps in the back of the seat in front. Some people also carry their own cup holders and attach it with simple Velcro fasteners on the seat in the theater.

If you find that your favorite movie theater does not have cup holders, do get in touch with the management and impress upon them to install these. They would mostly be happy to comply with your request in the best interests of customer comfort and delight.
