More Android phones are coming to Verizon Wireless, but the latest one won’t get the carrier’s memorable “Droid” branding. The Motorola Devour, announced today, is scheduled to launch in March. It’s Verizon’s first Android phone with the “Motoblur” user interface, which is basically Motorola’s take on a simple Twitter/Facebook/MySpace app.

NEW YORK — The economy’s service sector grew in January for the first time since September while the pace of job losses moderated, a private trade group said Wednesday. The Institute for Supply Management said its service sector index rose to 50.5 last month from a revised 49.8 in December.
