Rescued exotic animals find new home at Columbus Zoo

It was a night of death in Zanesville, Ohio on Tuesday. Faced with dangerous animals let loose by one of their owners, sheriff’s deputies shot and killed 48 exotic animals, including 18 rare Bengal tigers, 17 lions, six black bears, two grizzly bears, a baboon, a wolf and three mountain lions. It was a tally that devestated animal lovers, but for six of the animals, there is a happy ending. Three leopards, a bear and two monkeys were captured and taken to the Columbus Zoo.
