You are creating something that people will keep for years to come. You are capturing a very special moment in people\’s lives. Your clients – the bride and groom to be – will want the best and will want the quality guaranteed. If you are a photographer you might want to consider photographing weddings because there is a lot of money to be made by doing them. With the money comes the risk which you must manage well.

A disclaimer should be included in a well written up first time contract. A disclaimer is something that can prevent you from being sued later on. There are a few reason you should not be held accountable for and they are failure of equipment, miss placed pictures after they were sent away, and photos that do not develop properly. You do not want to be sued for breaching your contract.

Now with that said you should also include how many pictures are to be taken and how long you will be photographing for and what hourly rate will be. Something else you should include would be the fees for developing and the fee of the album. Your client\’s requirements are important so make sure you talk it over with them. There could be a particular family member that they want photographed separately, or a certain group of people they do not get to see very often.

Your clients will probably request certain photographs so make sure you make a list. Here are a few common ones, pre-ceremony, wedding ceremony, post-ceremony and reception. Discuss with the clients about which shots they want and who\’s going to be in the pictures. Pay attention to what your clients are saying because each one will be different.

When you schedule your clients in make sure they pay you a deposit. Most people will pay you 50% prior to the wedding and the remaining afterwards. So you don\’t end up bothering the bride and groom during the reception, arrangements should be made for when the remainder will be paid. It would look very unprofessional if you did.

Free Public Illinois Marriage Records Found Online

The Illinois State Archives and State Genealogical Society came together on a project to compile pre-1901 Public Marriage Records of the state. Thanks to the project, Illinois marriage records from 1763 – 1900 are now available to the public. Anyone can access and view Marriage Records Search from the period and volunteers can also send data directly to it for inclusion over the internet.

This public service is meant to be easily available to users in general and that has been greatly boosted with the advent of the Internet. People can now obtain free Marriage Records Search information online without having to leave home or office, saving a great deal of time and costs in travelling and waiting in line. They only have to get onto a computer and log on to the Internet.

For the most part, the information on these records is derived directly from the County Clerk’s original files. The contents include marriage registers, licenses, certificates and so forth. Additionally, information is also contributed by publications of county Genealogical societies and private individuals. The index is manned by the Illinois State Archives but it is also supported in no small way by volunteers.

Typically, the information consists of the personal particulars of the marrying couple, their parents’, names of witnesses and officiant of the marriage and the date and place of the occasion. Although a ceremony or wedding is not mandatory, it must be in the county for which the Public Marriage Records is granted if one is conducted but neither of the couple need to be a local resident of the county. Therefore, if a search fails in the known county of residence, it’s worth a shot to extend it to a statewide one instead.

All Illinois marriages from Day 1 are supposedly captured. It’s believed that Cook County was the first to start record keeping and the Great Fire of Chicago in1871 destroyed quite some original documents which were listed on the Sam Fink Index. Nevertheless, the Illinois Regional Archives Depository (IRAD) today still has under its holdings marriage records of more than 70 of the 102 counties in Illinois. Individual County records are the most complete but they are decentralized. Their offices are also the only authorized agencies to issue certified copies.

Another increasingly popular option for marriage record search is the commercial record providers. These private enterprises operate record databases on a professional basis. On top of public sources such as the Illinois State Archives, universities and Genealogical societies, they also tap into private and proprietary networks. By and large, they are hassle-free and their coverage is nationwide. This is particularly handy when time is a factor and multiple states are concerned.

There are businesses that put together massive databases of every phone number out there (including unlisted and cell phone numbers). They purchase access to these phone records, build their databases and then let anyone run a search on any phone number.

This type of search is call a “reverse phone lookup” and is done online right from your computer. You just enter the phone number and the person’s full details (name, address etc) is shown on your computer screen.

Once you are done this step, you can move on to the last step.

Step #3 – Is Your Spouse A Cheater?

This last step is where you can to “put it all together”. Once you have a list showing exactly who your spouse has been talking you, I can guarantee that anything suspicious will jump off the page at you.

Pay attention to the names that you see on your list. There are many times that people will suspect that their spouse is seeing someone else in particular – if this fits your situation, does that person’s name show up?
