Nazis Everywhere, Part 185: Hitler Found in Wisconsin!

As part of a continuing series here on Goldblog, we’re compiling lists of people who are not Nazis but who have been called Nazis in public, as a way of proving the obvious point that “Nazi” isn’t the most appropriate insult in the world. For the list, click here . Today’s victim is Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker, who has incurred the wrath of some of his state’s public-sector unions for trying to curtail their power. Some of his opponents have taken to suggesting that he is a Nazi. However, I have checked with the German government; the U.S. Justice Department and Yad Vashem in Jerusalem, and there is no record to suggest that Walker was ever a member of the Nazi Party, or an aide to Hitler.  Here are photos of the demonstration against Walker:

Petraeus warns against Quran-burning

The U.S. commander in Afghanistan on Monday criticized a Florida church’s plan to burn copies of the Quran on September 11, warning the demonstration “could cause significant problems” for American troops overseas.
