USDA buildings closed Monday due to small fire

Agriculture Department employees who are assigned to its two main downtown Washington buildings are on administrative leave Monday. A small fire in the USDA’s South Building occurred during routine maintenance early Monday, according to department spokesman Justin DeJong.
