Oil is quickly fading out of sight along the Gulf Coast now that BP’s blown-out well has been plugged and cemented, and as the Washington Post reports today, many Gulf residents are afraid “out of sight” will mean out of mind, too. “We have a suspicion that BP may want to get out of this restoration,” said one fisherman and father of six at a recent community meeting in Buras, La.
