HBO releases first trailer for ‘Game Change’; stars Julianne Moore as Sarah Palin, Ed Harris as John McCain (Video)

“I’ll just grit my teeth and bear whatever comes,” former Alaska Governor and Vice Presidential nominee Sarah Palin told Fox News’s Sean Hannity back in March about HBO’s upcoming flick detailing Sen. John McCain’s presidential campaign, in which Palin will be played by Julianne Moore. Well, on Wednesday, the teeth-gritting began: HBO sent out a video tease that offered a very quick look at Moore’s chameleon-like performance in “Game Change,” based on book of same name, which the pay cable network will debut in March. Gingrich expected to officially join Republican presidential race

Former House speaker Newt Gingrich will announce Wednesday that he is officially running for the 2012 Republican presidential nomination, according to his spokesman. Gingrich will make the announcement via Facebook and Twitter — a bow to the power of social media in politics — and then will sit down for an interview Wednesday night on Sean Hannity’s Fox News Channel show, Gingrich aide Rick Tyler said. The former congressman from Georgia is expected to make his first formal speech as a candidate Friday at the state’s Republican Party convention . So let me get this straight. Twenty people were gunned down at a supermarket in Arizona on Saturday. Six were killed, including a nine-year-old girl. Fourteen others were wounded, including Rep. Gabrielle Giffords, who was the main target of the attack, and who was shot through the head. She is currently lying in a hospital bed with half of her skull removed because brain swelling from her bullet wound could kill her. Twenty people shot. Six killed. Fourteen wounded. read more
