PHILADELPHIA — At 3:40 Thursday afternoon, Manager Jim Riggleman and hitting coach Rick Eckstein called every hitter in the Washington Nationals ’ clubhouse into Riggleman’s office. They closed the door. Riggleman and Eckstein spoke first.
