CORONADO, Calif. — The Michigan State Spartans couldn’t feel too bad about losing 67-55 to No. 1 North Carolina in the Carrier Classic on the flight deck of the USS Carl Vinson. After all, President Barack Obama sat at midcourt as the teams played the first college hoops game on an active flat top.
