To mark 10 years of military detention at Guantanamo Bay , human rights groups are organizing events worldwide this week, from rallies to flash mobs to concerts. The detainees themselves are marking the anniversary in quieter fashion, with peaceful demonstrations. Detainees are planning three days of protests, beginning Tuesday, according to an attorney for a handful of the men. A woman was fatally stabbed Tuesday afternoon in an alley behind a Northeast Washington recreation center, possibly during a domestic dispute, D.C. police said. Officers were called to the 1200 block of Morse Street and found a 42-year-old woman with stab wounds near the Joseph H. Cole Recreation Center, just after 3 p.m.officials said.
