Hilarious SNL ‘Bill Clinton’ skit — Bill leaks he’s to be named husband to…

As usual our friends at Saturday Night Live do not disappoint in this skit of “Bill Clinton” leaking the details of Hillary Clinton’s post-Thanksgiving nomination as Secretary of State and it doesn’t stop there.  He goes on to admonish foreign leaders telling them she can see through ALL OF THEM.  There are only three words you need with Hillary he goes onto to say, “I am sorry.”  It’s so damn funny and a welcome distraction from our lame duck Bush President and downward spiraling economic mess.  Have a laugh and watch this video clip.

Tina Fey as Sarah Palin in SNL “QVC skit” with the ‘real’ John McCain…

My friends and I have been talking about how scary Sarah Palin is because to us it’s been MORE THAN APPARENT that she has her eye on 2012’s Presidential election.  YIKES, NO MAKE THAT DOUBLE-YIKES.  File this under my favorite phrases that I use to describe Sarah Palin; “powerful stupid” and “political terrorist”.  

Enjoy the clip from last night’s Saturday Night Live with the ‘real’ John McCain and Tina Fey playing her spot on Sarah Palin.  I love that they’re hawking goods on QVC in the skit and of course my favorites were when the Sarah Palin character said she’d be the “white Oprah” (did you hear the roar coming from Chicago on that one) and then when she went rogue and stepped off to the left to show and sell her “Palin in 2012″ tee shirts.  HILARIOUS, and SCARY AS HELL!

O.K., let’s cut to the chase, Sarah Palin and John McCain are wandering in the desert without very much water and no plan on how to survive let alone get out and thrive. THEY’RE LOST. Now, let’s step back from the very funny episode of SNL, Saturday Night Live where Sarah Palin blessed the nation with an appearance. I’m so sick of this joke of a Vice Presidential candidate, she can appear on SNL but she avoids “Meet the Press” at all costs. AMERICA, THIS IS A PROBLEM and not just because Sarah Palin isn’t funny, that’s the least of our collective problems. It just brings the point home all the more that John McCain made a purely political call when he choose Sarah Palin as his V.P. Yeah, yeah she energizes the base of the GOP.

But, let’s face facts she’s been a Governor for less than 24 months. As Ret. Gen. Colin Powell states in his endorsement of Barack Obama that Sarah Palin is simply not ready to be President and that is the PRIMARY function of the Office of Vice President of the United States of America.  She’s one heartbeat away from the Oval Office as a 72 year old, Republican, Cancer patient’s V.P. candidate. Caribou Barbie needs to ride her moose back to Alaska and her campaign to destroy Alaska with more oil drilling which will solve no problems and only create now ones and makes her Republican pals even more money.

John McCain made a insulting choice in Sarah Palin as it was plain and simple a political move to win the election. His choice is not even remotely based upon what’s best for America. John McCain is cut of the EXACT same cloth as George W. Bush. When a Senator votes ninety percent of the time in favor your on the same page. By some fictional standard John McCain maybe considered a maverick but by no definition that I can find does he or Sarah Palin meet the definition. Which brings me back to Joe Biden’s wonderful analogy of
“If It Walks Like a Duck” video clip below.

When was the last time you heard anything concrete from John McCain and/or Sarah Palin during all of their copious stump speeches? Can’t remember any of late can you? That’s because all they’re doing is pointing out what they say is wrong coming from Obama and Biden and these are remarks taken out of context mixed with blatant lies and gross rewriting of history.

Sarah Palin won’t appear in her own press conference or on a reputable show like “Meet the Press” but she can appear of “Saturday Night Live”.  This isn’t a joy ride Sarah Palin; you’re on the V.P. train give a press release and actually show up for the job you’re campaigning for. Let’s face it whether we like it or not this scary Hockey mom from Alaska has her eye of the 2012 Republican nomination prize.  Hello, isn’t it obvious. This SNL clip is funny because the actors and writers on SNL are funny, Sarah Palin appearing equates to yet another slap in America’s face since she’s clearly never going to hold a press conference; is this her version of being a maverick. No, thanks.

Don’t vote with the herd, do your own research and vote November 4th.

Watch Tina Fey’s ‘first official press conference’ as Sarah Palin on Saturday Night Live…

Our friends at SNL did not disappoint again last evening when Sarah Palin herself made a cameo appearance. Tina Fey, Lorne Michaels, Alec Baldwin, Mark Wahlberg, et al were hilarious during the opening ‘press conference skit’.

Sadly for Sarah Palin the joke is still on her because her appearance proved nothing; it doesn’t even really display that she herself has much of a sense of humor. Clearly, all her lines were scripted and although she wasn’t unfunny, she was flat, certainly compared to her demeanor when she’s rallying during one of her speeches for the McCain Palin ticket.

Now it’s Sunday and Colin Powell officially endorses Barack Obama and in his overall statement states, that in his opinion Sarah Palin is not ready to be President of the United States. This is Retired General Colin Powell, former Secretary of State. This is an opinion that not only matters it tell the Americans who listening quite a story about why he chose Barack Obama but also why it doesn’t make sense to vote for a John McCain / Sarah Palin ticket in November.

So, Sarah Palin’s timing is seriously off here she appears on Saturday Night Live the night before Gen. Colin Powell (retired) publicly endorses his presidential choice of Barack Obama and goes on to state that in his opinion Sarah Palin isn’t ready to be President. Listen up America this is a man the country has both immense respect but also trust for.

Now, back to the comedy of the brilliant Tina Fey playing Sarah Palin giving her ‘first official press conference’ if you want a good laugh. Enjoy.

Powerful Stupid – SNL Scary McCain Rally Woman skit

More eye-opening levity from our friends at Saturday Night Live. Although this weekend update skit it very, very funny it’s also scary that there are WAY TOO MANY people in America who think that Barack Obama is an Arab or Muslim and are therefore ’scared’ of him so they will automatically vote for John McCain. I’m glad that McCain took the microphone from this clueless woman in Minnesota the one thing he didn’t do was state for the record that there’s nothing wrong with being an Arab or a Muslim. The last thing America needs on November 4th is more people voting the FEAR BUTTON again aren’t eight years of what that creates ENOUGH.

People like the clueless woman in Minnesota are what’s REALLY scary in the country. People who are ill-informed, mis-informed and/or too lazy to actually do their own homework and research about the candidates and instead rely on this ridiculous TV ads of McCain’s and his PACs. Not to mention all the bullship Sarah Palin espouses at her political rallies.

Isolationist thinking and keeping one’s self ignorant of who the candidates really are and what they stand for are not remedies for bringing America forward. Get off your ass, get up from the sofa and actually learn about what John McCain and Barack Obama stand for – don’t buy into more soundbite B.S. stop being so lazy and actually become involved in the process instead of pulling a level, pushing a button of tearing chads blindly. Although it’s our right as American citizens to vote it should neither be taking lightly nor for granted; there’s immense power in our collective right to vote.

Frankly, I’ve had MORE THAN ENOUGH of the crap of the last eight years of American’s being herded around and manipulated because they’re not conducting their own research. you can’t whine one the one hand about how government should come to your rescue when there’s a natural disaster but then vote for a candidate who thinks a SPENDING FREEZE is going to solve any aspect of the current economic disaster Americans are facing right now.

WAKE UP, JOE SIX PACK, JOE THE PLUMBER and pull your head out of ass long enough to realize there is a bigger picture here that extends far beyond the boundaries of your front lawn. America was based upon the premise that ALL PEOPLE ARE CREATED EQUAL; not just created equal we are equal.

So, get out and VOTE on Nov. 4th but vote policy not pigmentation. America is about opportunity and inclusion and John McCain is a 26 year veteran of fat cat Washington D.C. politics he’s no maverick. He should be retiring at 72 not packing boxes to move into yet another house, and certainly not the White House.

What’s really scary is the woman from Minnesota who attended the McCain rally that kind of stupid is the scariest thing of all because people like that are so often dug into their inaccurate beliefs and unfortunately for the rest of the nation who has a brain and actually uses it have to deal with the George Bushes and John McCains of the world.

How can Joe Six Pack really think that someone like John McCain and/or Sarah Palin really knows them and connects with the reality of their world? McCain and Palin both wealthy, political insiders yes, even coming from her political background in Alaska Sarah Palin is a tried and true politico she’s no more a maverick than 72 year old disconnected John McCain. Get real!

Time to wake up America and take some personal responsibility. As Forrest Gump’s Mama said, ”Stupid is as stupid does.” Now, that’s really scary shit!
