We told you Superman casting stories would begin to heat up the internet, and now we’re back with a couple of guys who are rumored to be in the running for a major role in Zack Snyder’s upcoming Man of Steel movie. The Hollywood Reporter tells us that Viggo Mortensen is high on the list of actors they want to play the villainous General Zod in the 2012 film. Zod, played by Terence Stamp in Superman 2, was rumored to be the villain for awhile until Snyder squashed the talk early on (probably for fear of letting the cat out of the bag so quickly).
