A few miles away at Fort Campbell, thousands of soldiers are preparing for yet another tour in Afghanistan. Heart-wrenching losses, unforeseen injuries and overall misfortune marred a 10-loss season that they felt was the worst football experience they would ever endure. Then came this season.
